Your safari begins from a designated collection point in Hoedspruit. If you’d prefer direct pick-up from your accommodation, the Matumi Team will be happy to assist with arrangements in advance.
This 3.5 to 4-hour private safari is designed for couples, families, or groups who want an intimate and personalized experience. With your own open safari vehicle and professional guide, you’ll have the freedom to explore at your own pace, without the crowds.
As the day begins to cool, wildlife becomes more active, offering prime opportunities to spot the Big 5 and other iconic species in action. Your experienced guide is in constant communication with fellow rangers via radio, ensuring the best possible sightings during your drive.
Mid-safari, we’ll pause at a scenic lookout to enjoy sundowners and light snacks as the sky transforms with the colours of dusk, a magical moment unique to afternoon game drives.
Once the sun dips below the horizon, you’ll head back to the original meeting point, filled with stories, sightings, and the unforgettable sights and sounds of the South African bush.
